About the Sacrament

In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit” and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ. Confirmation involves a period of preparation, including classes and retreats.

Before being confirmed, all students must take the necessary steps to prepare. One of the main steps is signing up for Faith Formation.

Adult Confirmation signifies a personal and conscious decision to embrace the Catholic faith fully.

To be confirmed as an adult, you must take OCIA classes to prepare. These classes are tailored to explain the sacraments and why they are important. If you are interested in signing up, please click on the link below for more information.

The person you select as your confirmation sponsor must meet the specific requirements. Please view document below to see if they qualify.
